Bet911 has been dropped by its main marketing partner The EOG this week. SBRB has continued to voice it concerns over Bet911 due to its poor payout history. While some websites continue to gloss over this fact, SBRB has not let its guard down.
We asked a seasoned insider what he thought about the news, “Usually this means a book is unable to pay its marketing deal or has had major issues facing it which had forced its marketing partner to drop them. The second scenario usually indicates a lack of financial means.”
Bet911 has had many issues with no pays, slow pays and employee complaints. The book can be seen shilling in TheRx, EOG, SBR, Peeps, and other gambling related forums trying to attract unsuspecting players. Avoid this Costa Rican ran book at all cost.
**Update** Bet911 has returned to The EOG. Players should still remain cautious. -March 2010
Isn’t this an exaggeration? It only took 3 days for BET911 to be back at EOG, and the comment by the ”insider” with no quote as to the name seems a bit suspicious don’t you guys think?
The other thing that surprises me is that at least 99% of the users have great things to say about us paying super fast… but this ”insider claims that Bet911 lacks the funds. I see a bit of inconsistencies in this ”article”.
Remember that not everybody buys what SBR says, you have way too much bad blood with some big books that is fairly documented!
Steve,
Fair points across the board, but in reality your sportsbook was dropped by EOG exaggeration or not.
As far as the “insider” we feel compelled to answer your suspicion. This individual has not only been in the industry before your sportsbook existed, but what’s important is; he has a strong grasp of your operation.
On the other hand, we also know a bunch of individuals who work in Costa Rica that vouch for you as well. We are intrigued by the duality of this circumstance.
What we see as advocates is slow pays, line errors, some ex-employee strife and other simple situations that lead us to believe players should avoid your book for awhile especially in off-season.
We also agree that SBR is not the be-all end-all advocates it says it is.
We want to point out your constant shilling, payout issues, and documented problems in 2008 lead us to believe players should pass you up for another season until your issues have been put to rest.
In saying that, we wish Bet911 well and we want you to prove us wrong!
